Safeguarding
Safeguarding is our top priority here at Hayling Dance Academy.
We strive for excellence in keeping our children and young people safe and free from harassment and bullying at dance.

Miss Naomi and Miss Emma are safeguarding trained, both holding an updated certificate (2025) in Safeguarding in sport. Miss Emma also completes safeguarding in education training yearly. In response to worldy event, our teachers also completed a self defence course to have further training in protecting our students.
Our Safeguarding Lead: Miss Emma Jones
​​​We ensure we have safe handovers to parents/ guardians of students both at the beginning of class and the end. We teach what we are qualified to teach in a safe manner and keep our DBS checks and insurances up to date. We team teach together to ensure student safety and if private 1 to 1 classes occur we leave the door open.

As a parent or guardian, it is vital that you have the confidence to ask questions and/or to raise any concerns, no matter how small.

We have confidence that we are doing all we can to protect our students from harm.
